Our History
Step Irrigation was established in 1991 with a primary focus on domestic irrigation systems. The Company quickly established a strong reputation for excellence and still services most of its very first customers. The market (and the business) grew over the years to include commercial installations and sports fields.
Standards
Although the Landscape Irrigation Association (LIASA) is not fully functional in KZN, their industry standards/ guidelines serve as Step Irrigation’s minimum criteria. Our aim is to exceed customer expectations, so we underline that the industry standards are our starting point. Aubrey Coetzee completed the LIASA Designer’s Course and most of the staff have completed the Fitters Course. The Company is also a Level 3 member of the "Verify Services", which has a stringent Code of Conduct and system for checking that all statutory requirements (UIF, Workmen’s Compensation etc) are met.
Staff
Step Irrigation’s current full-time staff complement have service histories ranging from 4 to 24 years. We encourage teamwork, personal development, and promotion opportunities at all levels.
